Jo’s support throughout my pregnancy journey was nothing short of transformative. From the moment I first visited her, expecting natural therapies, I was pleasantly surprised by the depth and breadth of her approach. Not only did she address my physical ailments with expertise, but she also delved into the psychological aspects of birthing, guiding me through explorations of my history, thought processes, and thinking patterns. Jo's preparation for the stages of birth, both mentally and physically, equipped me with invaluable tools and confidence. Her assistance in navigating the complexities of the medical system and advocating for my birth wishes was instrumental in ensuring a positive birthing experience. Her postnatal lactation support was a lifeline during the challenging postpartum period, providing invaluable guidance on newborn feeding and breastfeeding. Thanks to Jo's unwavering belief and encouragement, I made the decision to opt for a home birth with my second baby, which turned out to be a truly beautiful experience. Drawing upon the knowledge and support gained from my first pregnancy, Jo remained a steadfast guide through lactation support with my second baby. Beyond her professional expertise, Jo has become a friend and mentor, someone I deeply admire and look up to. Her genuine care and nurturing spirit shine through in everything she does. I wholeheartedly recommend Jo to any woman seeking comprehensive, compassionate support throughout their pregnancy journey. With Jo by your side, you'll feel supported, empowered, and deeply cared for every step of the way. Forever grateful

I met the wonderful Jo when I was approximately 32 weeks pregnant. I was looking for her assistance with a very comfortably breech baby that was putting a dampener on our plans for a home birth. I had multiple appointments with Jo as she guided me through what would traditionally be a very stressful time. Despite our best efforts my strong willed little one had a very set plan (she flipped from breech to transverse to head down and back the day I went into labour). Due to the current medical regulations and a VERY fast labour I ended up having an unplanned caesarean. Throughout the entire experience and recovery I was very at peace and calm and actually felt nothing but pride from the entire experience. I firmly believe this can largely be attributed to the work that I did with Jo. The impact Jo had on our family did not end there, through her support and expertise I able to successfully begin and maintain my breastfeeding journey. And fourteen months later we are still going strong with no plans to stop! Thank you Jo for playing such an integral role in my journey into motherhood.

Mumabuba was an amazing support through my second pregnancy and I am so glad to have found her. I have always suffered with terrible circulation issues and through the treatments Jo provided and at home remedies she suggested I felt so well throughout my pregnancy - better than I had felt when I was not pregnant!! I no longer had issues with swelling in my legs, heart burn was taken away and my energy levels were high. My OB kept saying he was waiting for me to "get over" being pregnant but that feeling never came. I felt connected to my baby and excited to bring them into the world. This was my second baby and I was only recently recovering from PND so having Jo as a support person was so important for me. My birth experience unfortunately wasn't what I had hoped, my baby and I were met with a lot of challenges on the day and it all got quite scary, however, I felt confident to make the right informed choice for me and my baby based on the discussions and education I had received from Jo during my pregnancy. I can't recommend Jo highly enough, taking the time to look after myself while pregnant was so important and something every mum and mum-to-be should be able to do.
