You might find yourself wondering:

Is anyone else feeling like this?
Where can I ask a question without being judged?
Why does every online mothers group feel overwhelming?
Where can I connect with women nearby who understand this stage of life?
Is there somewhere I can receive both guidance and genuine support?

You might find yourself wondering:

Is anyone else feeling like this?

Why does every online mothers group feel overwhelming?

If these questions have crossed your mind, you are not alone.

Many women discover that pregnancy and early motherhood can feel surprisingly isolating, even when surrounded by information.

The mumabuba community was created so women in the Whitsundays can experience connection, reassurance and thoughtful support through conception, pregnancy, birth and the early years of motherhood.

What the mumabuba Community Is

The mumabuba community is a supportive space for women in the greater Whitsundays area who value a natural, holistic and nurturing approach to conception, pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.

This community exists to foster connection, shared wisdom and compassionate support during one of the most significant seasons of life.

Members are encouraged to ask questions, share lived experiences and learn from one another in a calm, respectful and community-centred environment.

mumabuba is intentionally curated to support positive experiences for women while nurturing a local village grounded in care, trust and mutual respect.

A Different Kind of Online Mothers’ Group

There are many online parenting groups where you can ask a question and receive dozens of conflicting opinions.

That’s not what this space is designed to be.

The mumabuba community is a guided local circle for women navigating conception, pregnancy, birth and early motherhood in the Whitsundays.

Conversations move at a human pace.

Questions are welcomed.
Experiences are respected.

The space is professionally moderated so information shared feels safe, thoughtful and supportive rather than overwhelming.

Inside the community you will find:

• A calm and moderated space – free from shaming or judgement
• Professional guidance alongside shared lived experience
• Ongoing support through conception, pregnancy, birth and early parenting
• Thoughtful conversations grounded in both evidence and intuition
• Real connection with local women walking a similar journey

Members are encouraged to ask questions, share lived experiences and learn from one another in a calm, respectful and community-centred environment.

mumabuba is intentionally curated to support positive experiences for parents and babies while nurturing a local village grounded in care, trust and mutual respect.

Why the Community Lives in Its Own App

Instead of relying on social media feeds where conversations quickly disappear, the mumabuba community lives inside its own dedicated app within my Echos of Birth online education platform.

This means:

• Conversations remain easy to return to when you need them
• Support doesn’t get buried in endless scrolling
• The space stays free from advertising and distractions
• Women can engage intentionally rather than feeling overwhelmed

This isn’t about more screen time.  It’s about creating a calmer place for meaningful connection.

Supported by Experience

Alongside the shared wisdom of the women within the community, members are also supported by over 21 years of professional experience working with women, babies and families.

This creates a unique balance of:

professional knowledge
lived experience
and genuine community connection.

A Local Village in the Whitsundays

One of the most special aspects of the mumabuba community is that the women inside it are local.

Many are navigating the same stages of life at the same time – trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth preparation, breastfeeding, and the early years of motherhood.

This creates a sense of familiarity and shared understanding that can be difficult to find in larger online groups.

Motherhood was never meant to be navigated in isolation.

mumabuba pregnancy & baby wellness community exists to gently bring back the village.
